Preparing Body, Mind, and Spirit for Optimal Performance

Led by international soprano and master teacher Katherine Jolly, this session will provide singers with an experiential introduction to movement, increasing awareness of postural habits and tensions, with specific warm-ups to aid in balancing muscular tension and release. Basic yoga postures, mindfulness, and grounding exercises will be taught, exploring how they relate to vocal freedom and the ability to communicate. Ample time will be given for questions and reflections.
